What I dont get... I make a wallpaper , i ask 4 friends if they like it, I upload it and I get no emails. Ive seen other wallpapers not as good but mine does not appear, might there be corruption behind the GO upload walls?
Hmmmm...
To me this place aint what it was to be. Can this be?

I think you should read this thread: https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WC&id=244572#244741

Also, it's maybe not a good idea to suggest that we moderators are corrupt. I trust that is what you meant? You obviously never read "How to win friends and influence people".

Wow,.. two such wildly different reactions to moderated work. The maturity of the one over the other is blatantly obvious.
I guess some strive to do better and some just prefer to kick tantrums rather than apply themselves to create competitive work.
Think maybe the school system's giving everyone A's and B's undeserved has created a mass of monsters who expect to be rewarded for the slightest effort.

Good points wulfie, you can also see the wildly different response from a moderator to the two wildly different attitudes. I tend to treat people as they treat me.

Boxxi if you get the chance, could you email me?

You do have some walls that were accepted and IMO I've seen better (just my personal taste, not saying that's an objective standard) and also worse, again IMO, that also made it past moderation. But how you figure there's "corruption" just because some were rejected I don't understand. It's not like the mods who volunteer for this site profit from or have a vested interest in what does or doesn't get hosted on the site. And you've evidently been around long enough to know better than that to make such a suggestion.

If you really want feedback on why they were rejected email a mod to see if they'll take the time to give it to you. But after this thread where you suggested corruption might have been involved, you might want to wait a while or be a tad more conciliatory if you want any of them to spend more of their own time to deal with you on this issue.

Get yourself 4 more honest friends.

Ask Bryan [BoXXi] whether I'm 'honest' about his works.......or whether I felate his ego.

Suggestions of corruption is an insult.  Publicly defame a person's or group's collective character and expect an arse kicking.

Grow up or go elsewhere.

ooohhh, Jafo said 'felate'...impressive vocabulary range!

I prefer to think that he really misspelled 'inflate'. I'm not sure I want the image of Jafo doing that to BoXXi's ego in my head...

PixelCargo, the fact the 4 of your friends liked the wallpaper does not mean that it will stand against the standards that moderators look into, and while it is true that some designs are better and more appealing than others, it doesn't give foot to a suggestion that the method or moderators are corrupted.
This been said, the correct approach should've been to email an admin and ask for feedback on why was the design rejected. This usually helps a lot to the improvement of the work.

AH sorry it was late i didnt mean it like it came out, I dint read that thread.
The things that made it look fishy:
-they had trouble with the servers
-I thought i wasnt geting any emails because I though that the uploads were getting lost or something.
-I just never thought of emailing an admin but wouldnt the wallpaper be deleted before comments?

What I really wanted to know is , is there only 1 person thats incharge of the yes or no process for posting?

No, there are many that voice their opnions. Then I think its majority rules. That part is my guess.
